Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

It’s been established in previous devotionals that God’s Word is powerful. In every Word spoken by God is the ability to actualise itself, that is, the Word of God is self-actualising. However, it needs be understood that as powerful as God’s Word is, its inherent ability can only be released when it meets with faith in the heart of the hearer or receiver of the Word. In Scriptures, God’s Word is called seed (1 Peter 1:23, Mark 4:14), and we know that the growth of a seed is dependent on the soil in which it is planted. The right soil will bring out all the potentials of the seed while the wrong one will hinder it. A heart of faith is the right soil for the seed of God’s Word to produce.

Romans 1:16 tells us that the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes. The power of the gospel is released only to the one who dares to believe it. In 1 Thessalonians 2:13, the Bible says the Word of God works effectually not in everyone but in those who believe. Faith is the primary prerequisite for the unleashing of the power in the Word of God. Without faith in the Word, it cannot produce what it talks about in one’s life. We must believe to see the Word work for us. Beloved, create the right environment and atmosphere for God’s Word to thrive in your life by mixing the Word with faith in your heart. Let your heart agree with God’s Word and you’ll see awesome testimonies of God’s faithfulness.

Father, I create the right atmosphere in my heart, for Your Word to thrive and produce the desired result in my life in the Name of Jesus. AMEN.
