Leverage Devotional For Today Message:


God’s tool for changing the hearts and lives of people is His Word. Only the Word of God can penetrate deep into the innermost parts of a person and bring about transformation. As good, desirable, and wonderful as miracles are, they cannot change the hearts of men. Signs and wonders get the attention of men so they can focus on the God of the miracles and hear the Words of His mouth. Perhaps no generation has seen as many signs and wonders and great demonstrations of God’s power as the children of Israel did in the wilderness. That generation saw mighty signs in the land of Egypt; they saw the Red Sea part by the mighty hand of God. They heard the voice of God on the mount (Exodus 20), saw water come out of a rock, and countless other supernatural manifestations of the power of God. Yet, with all that they saw, their hearts were not changed.

So much happened around them on the outside but not much happened to them on the inside. They remained unchanged, the same way they came out of Egypt, hence their inability to follow God and enter the Promised Land. Beloved, God’s Word is His change agent; it is God’s instrument of change for the transformation of the heart of man. When you receive God’s Word with the right attitude of meekness and gratitude, it changes you from the inside out. Receive the Word today.

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word, my Change Agent. I thank You because I am being changed by your Word from glory to glory in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
