Leverage Devotional For Today Message:


Jesus, the Word of God made flesh, is called the Light – the true Light that lightens every man that comes into the world. God’s Word is light and it is the light by which man should see. God didn’t create us to live by another kind of light but that which comes from Him. Light stands for knowledge; it stands for understanding and illumination. Hence, God made man to live by no other knowledge and understanding but the one that comes from His Word. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12). The Word of God is the light of the world. Whosoever follows God’s Word will not walk in darkness but will have the light of true life, that is, Zoe. Zoe is the God-kind of life, meaning that walking in the light of the Word of God brings us into the experience of the God-kind.

Little wonder 1 John 1:7 tells us that “…if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another…” Beloved, let God’s Word enlighten you and your life will be productive for all to see. The Word illuminates our path in life and gives us rounded understanding of life. Through the knowledge of God’s Word, we can deal wisely in the affairs of life. We can show awesome mastery of life’s challenges. We can turn obstacles to miracles and tests into testimonies. The knowledge of God’s Word confers on you supernatural abilities to do valiantly in life. Beloved, the light of God’s Word is indeed our true education.

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
Heavenly Father, I receive illumination by Your Word today. I declare that the only light I know is the light of eternal life in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
