The Leverage Devotional by Apostle Segun Obadje 14 January 2024: BELIEVE IN PROSPERITY

Topic: BELIEVE IN PROSPERITY

3 John 1:2; 1 Chronicles 29:12-16

Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

Prosperity is God’s will for you. God is not against your prosperity; He wants you to prosper. God has said in His word that ‘I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.’ So, prosperity is yours because it is God’s will for you. Prosperity belongs to you in Christ and you ought to prosper. You will prosper in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, ‘For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor that you through His poverty might be rich’. What’s the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ? It is the provision of our Lord Jesus Christ for your prosperity, hidden in the substitutionary work He did for you at Calvary. Jesus Christ was rich, yet for your sake, not for His sake, He became poor. He wasn’t poor to begin with, but He had to lay down His riches so He could carry your poverty away from you, and give you His riches.

For your sake, Jesus Christ became poor so that you, through His poverty, might be rich. If you’re not walking in wealth and prosperity, then you have wasted that opportunity that Jesus Christ made available for you. In exchange, He took your poverty and gave you His wealth; because He did it in your own interest, you ought not to be poor. We’re not saying that you are necessarily going to be a billionaire in dollars or euros but according to God’s Word, you ought to be rich, and this means having more than enough. You can have more than you require to meet your needs and to be a blessing to others – that is what it means to be rich. So, reject poverty, reject living from hand to mouth, reject not enough, and reject just enough. In the name of Jesus, step into your reality of more than enough provisions. Amen.

My Solid Front (Confession):

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the grace of our Lord Jesus that substituted my poverty for His riches. Therefore, I reject poverty, not enough, just enough in Jesus’ name. I enter into the realm of more than enough where I have so much to meet my needs and also be a blessing to others. Amen.
