Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

The consciousness of righteousness is a stabilizer. It is a powerful force that propels a believer forward in life. It is an overcoming force. Hallelujah! The confidence that God is with us and for us is sufficient assurance of overcoming any situation we are faced with. The opening scripture reveals to us this powerful blessing of justification that ministers the consciousness of righteousness to us. As with the Jewish nation, the consciousness that the ark of covenant was with them at any battle ministered such an overwhelming confidence that sent shivers and weakened the camps of their enemies (1 Samuel 4:5-8). So it is with the believer in Christ. Just as God cannot be intimidated, you cannot be intimated; for you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Situations and circumstances are meant to bow to you because God is back of you. In this awareness, your heart should be restful and peaceful for your absolute trust is in the God who has justified you. None is permitted to lay a charge against you!

The hold of sin, with its guilt and condemnation, no longer has any influence over you. You have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and you are bold with the boldness of Christ. You have been discharged and acquitted. The Word teaches us that the righteous is as bold as the lion (Proverbs 28:1). Yes, that is your status in Christ Jesus. Having this understanding about justification gives a fearless boldness and confidence to the believer. It places the believer in the state of absolute trust in God, where you cannot be hurt by anything or anyone. It also confers on the believer the right and boldness to judge every unrighteousness. The book of Isaiah 54:17 is very clear on this. It says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD”. Beloved, you are empowered to set things in order and judge every appearance of unrighteousness in your life and around you.

MY SOLID FRONT (YOUR CONFESSION):
I declare that I am righteous through faith in Christ Jesus; therefore, I am bold. There is no fear in me. I am justified. I have unperturbed confidence. I have restful quietness in the presence of God and in the face of the enemy. I am bold to judge every unrighteousness. Therefore, I command every deviation in my life to come into alignment in Jesus’ name. Amen.
