Galatians 4:19 “My little children of whom I travail once again in birth pangs until Christ be formed in you”.
Leverage Devotional For Today Message:
Our opening scripture reveals to us a very important thing that needs to happen to every Christian: the formation of Christ in us. Have you ever wondered how Christ is formed in a believer? First, you need to open up your heart to the revelation of the Word of God. Sit down with the Bible and study God’s Word. Go to Bible study meetings, go to Word conferences, listen to messages, and then take your Bible and study the Scriptures. The moment you begin to study the Word of God, you will come to that place where your eyes of understanding are illuminated by the Holy Spirit. Second, act out the Word of God that you have heard. Put the Word to work. Don’t just be a hearer; be a doer (James 1:22). The moment you begin to put God’s Word to work, your life will be transformed, your life will be upgraded and the character of God will be formed on the inside of you.
The complete process for the formation of Christ is meditation and acting on the Word of God. As you engage in this process, Christ will be formed in you, and as Christ is formed in you, you will realise the glory of God in every aspect of your life. Christ formed in you is the realisation of glory in every aspect of your life, in business, in career, in ministry, in academics, in marriage, in your walk with God, etc. Christ formed in you is the hope of glory, and the world is waiting to see your glory. You can bless your world by giving them a first hand contact with Christ as you interact with God’s Word in meditation and action, until they can see Christ in you.
My Solid Front (Confession)
I declare that I have the gift of eternal life that allows the nature of Christ to be fully formed in me. Today, I take advantage of God’s Word as my tool for the formation of the character of Christ in me and I manifest God’s glory in every area of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen

13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
24 Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church. 25 I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness— 26 the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
28 He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. 29 To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.
