18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

Isaiah 65: 17-19:

17 “See, I will create
    new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered,
    nor will they come to mind.
18 But be glad and rejoice forever
    in what I will create,
for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight
    and its people a joy.
19 I will rejoice over Jerusalem
    and take delight in my people;
the sound of weeping and of crying
    will be heard in it no more.

Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

Everything man became in the fall in the Garden of Eden is called ‘the old man’. After man fell by transgression, he transmuted wrongly and his nature was changed from God’s to Satan’s. Ephesians 2:2-4 explains that man became a child of Satan; a child of wrath by nature. So, man partook of the nature of wickedness and darkness. Do you remember what Cain did to his brother, Abel? He murdered him in cold blood for envy and jealousy. Where did that envy, jealousy, and murder come from? Definitely not from God but from Satan. How did he catch that?  He was born after Adam had fallen and had been sent out of the Garden. As a result, he had automatically become a child of Satan. Jesus speaking to the Pharisees in John 8:44 said, ‘ye are of your father, the devil, and the desires of your father, you will do’. So, because man by the fall became a child of Satan by nature, partook of spiritual death and his nature changed, there was a need for man to be recreated.

To be recreated means to be born anew, born again, and to have a change of nature that is patterned after God’s righteousness and true holiness. Our anchor scripture for today says if any man be in Christ, he is a new man. The man in Christ is a brand new man with no reference to the old nature of sin. The old order is gone and the new has come. The Bible establishes that there’s a world of difference between the children of God and the children of the devil. We are now partakers of divine life, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. So you’re a new man in Christ, beloved. You are now of God, your Father, and no longer under the government and lordship of the devil. Rejoice and give God the praise.

My Solid Front (Confession):
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the blessing of new creation. Thank You for redeeming me from the dominion and fatherhood of Satan and making me a brand new man in Christ Jesus. Now, I make bold to say that the old man is gone and I live enthusiastically and exuberantly, the life of the new man by the power of Christ in me. Hallelujah!

27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 

23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 

24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
