John 11:44 “…Loose Him and let Him go!”

36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

The scripture above talks about the need to be free, the need to live a life of emancipation and liberty, and to enjoy life to the fullest. The account of Lazarus is clearly portrayed here in John 11. After the stone had been rolled away from the door to his tomb and Jesus Christ had called him forth from the dead, Lazarus came out from the tomb but he was still bound with grave clothes. Jesus then said, “loose him and let him go!” The opening of the grave was a necessary condition for the restoration of life to Lazarus, but the sufficient condition was actually the untying of the ropes that bound him. His life would be miserable without loosening the ropes that bound him, so he could be free to do the things that God had destined for him to do. Many times, people live life bound in their minds, thoughts, ambitions, and desires. People are sometimes bound in their bodies with sicknesses and diseases, in their spirits with no freedom of fellowship with God, and sometimes in their will with indecision; they just can’t make progress the way God intended for them to make progress.

Today, God is saying to every binding and limiting force around you to loose you and let you go! Therefore, you are loosed today in the name of Jesus Christ and empowered to step into your destiny in full force and to fulfill God’s plan without anything holding you down or holding you back anymore. The past is gone, beloved. It’s a new beginning for you and God is saying to step into that new beginning in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let go of the past; don’t allow your past to bind you anymore. God says in Isaiah 43:18-19, “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” God makes a way in the wilderness for you and causes rivers to flow in the desert for you, and your eyes shall see the new thing God has done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Confess with your mouth that “I am loosed and Jesus Christ has set me free”. Beloved, if the Son of God shall set you free, you shall be free indeed. You’re free indeed in Jesus’ name. Amen

My Solid Front (Confession):
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the redemptive power of resurrection to give life to the dead and loosen the hold of the grave. Therefore, I declare in the name of Jesus that the hold of the past, and every natural order of negative trends is broken off me and I am free to live life to the fullest, fulfilling destiny every step of the way in Jesus’ name. Amen.

2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you[a] free from the law of sin and death. 

3 For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh,[b] God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering.[c] And so he condemned sin in the flesh, 

4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
