2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new

Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

Congratulations! You made it into the new year! Glory to God! Can you take a moment to give thanks to God for bringing you into this new year. Give thanks to the God who makes all things new. Our opening scripture reveals to us that God makes all things new. When something is new, it means the old has been done away with. The new talks about something that you haven’t handled before. A new thing also refers to that which the Lord is doing according to His prophetic agenda and timing. A new thing also means a departure from the usual. Beloved, I’m glad to announce to you that a new chapter has just been opened to you.

Welcome to a new beginning. All things have been made new. Now, how do you step into the new thing which God is doing? Have a new mindset. You must see things from a new perspective. From three witnesses in scriptures, we see that when God is doing a new thing, he asks us to “Behold” (Revelation 21:5; Isaiah 43:19; 2 Corinthians 5:17). This means that you must see the new thing God is doing with the eyes of your understanding. Be deliberate to renew your mind and align with what God is doing in this new season. It’s a new chapter for you. So, out with the old and in with the new. God is doing a new thing, and you shall see it in Jesus’ name. Happy New Year!

Heavenly Father, I thank You for opening a new chapter in my life. I declare that it’s a new beginning for me and all things have been made new in Jesus’ name. AMEN
