Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

One of the most important reasons why we must give heed to God’s Word is that it brings wisdom. Wisdom is accurate, sound, and correct judgment. It is indispensable for a successful life. “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7). The knowledge of God’s Word gives us the ability to deal wisely in the affairs of life. Our God is the only wise God (1 Timothy 1:17); with Him alone dwells wisdom (Job 28:12-28). Therefore, when He opens His mouth to speak, He brings forth wisdom. Whatever He says therefore is wisdom because He is the Creator and Maker of all. When we receive the words of His mouth, we become wise. Little wonder Paul said to Timothy “And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (II Timothy 3:15).

The Scriptures can make wise unto salvation, beloved. The more time spent with the Word, the more time spent with wisdom. As you spend time receiving God’s Word, His thoughts and perspectives will become yours, and when you act out God’s thoughts, success is guaranteed. Beloved, God’s Word is your wisdom. Jesus Christ has been made wisdom unto you (I Cor.1:30). Jesus Christ is the living Word (John1:1, 14). Therefore, the Word of God is your wisdom. Putting the Word to work is working the wisdom of God. You see, to think the Word is to think the wisdom of God; to fellowship with God’s Word is to fellowship with God’s Wisdom. In fact, the degree to which you engage God’s Word is the same degree to which you become wise. You can become wise as you meditate and practise the Word of God daily.

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
I declare in the Name of Jesus that I have wisdom from God’s word. By this wisdom, I can deal wisely in all the affairs of life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
