Philippians 4:11-13; Ephesians 3:14-20; 1 Corinthians 15:10
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me“.
11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
Leverage Devotional For Today Message:
Christ is the sufficiency of the believer. We are not sufficient to think anything of ourselves; our sufficiency is of God. Hence, we lean on the power of Christ within us. The moment you got born again, you came into union with Christ. The Bible says He that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Now that you’re in union with Christ, He has become your sufficiency. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You can deny your body of food and fast through Christ who strengthens you. You can stay healthy through Christ who strengthens you. You can pass that exam and job interview through Christ who strengthens you. You can get that job through Christ who strengthens you. You can stay away from anger and malice through Christ who strengthens you. You can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you, beloved. Christ is your strength, Christ is your sufficiency, Christ is your grace, and Christ is your ability.
Today, let your heart begin to yearn for the strengthening of Christ within you. Paul said, “I am what I am by the grace of God”. In Christ, our making is by the grace of God. To become all that God has ordained you to be and to do all that God asks of you requires the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Beloved, you are who you are by the grace of God. That same grace that brought you this far will take you to the end. Lean on the grace of God. Do not lean on the arm of the flesh. Trust God to help you. Trust God to strengthen you. Christ is your sufficiency, and you can do all things through Him. What is that thing staring you in the face and telling you that you cannot overcome? Declare in faith that you are an overcomer by the grace of God. Today, go in the strength and sufficiency of Christ to fulfil your God-given destiny. You are unstoppable and you are more than a conqueror in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
My Solid Front (Confession)
I declare that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. The possibilities of supernatural strength and ability abound in Christ. Therefore, I lean on Christ today to fulfil all my covenant obligations for excellence and optimum productivity in life and destiny in Jesus’ name. Amen.
