Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

God loved man and made us in His image and after His likeness to function like Him. Man is the object of God’s love. God made the whole earth for man and for us to rule over, but He made us for Himself. The planetary bodies, the solar system and all the constellation of stars were made to serve man. Man is the reason for the earth and the Father heart of God is the reason for man. God made man because He wanted a companion and family, and He made the earth to meet the need of man. Love is the reason the Father God made man, and love is the reason He made the earth for man. Evidently, we are in a love-centred world. The Love of God is the central theme of creation. Furthermore, the Word tells us that God is love, and He, Love, made all things, which means that love must be the rhythm and centrality of creation (John 1:1-3; 1 John 4:8, 16). Every creation always reflects the character of its creator. Because Love created the universe, the laws that govern the universe are love-based – the Godkind of love. We are in a love-created, love-ruled world. Everything in our world was designed to work perfectly well in love. Therefore, out of love is out of place.

Our opening verse reveals the importance of walking in love. It says whosoever claims that he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now: But he who loves his brother abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him. Light stands for progress, innovation, advancement, creativity, knowledge and understanding. Love is the foundation of civilization. Love road is void of obstacles; there is no occasion of stumbling in love. Beloved, God has called you into light, His marvellous light. We are to yield to God’s love towards one another that we might make the most of our lives here on earth. There mustn’t be strife, bitterness, offence, malice, or wickedness towards your brother. Let the love of God in you rule and motivate you towards others! You can only fulfil your destiny in love; therefore, let the love of God govern you today and always!

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION):
In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I declare that I am ruled by the love of God. I walk in the light of love as I live according to the Word of God. Everything in me responds to the love of God, for love has been shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit in me. Amen.
