Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

It is very important to have it established in our hearts that the power inherent in God’s Word to bring about the performance of what it says will only be released when the Word is believed. Mary had to believe the Word spoken to her by the angel though it was impossible humanly speaking. She said to the angel of God “…be it unto me according to thy word” (Luke 1:38). She believed the Word and so there was a performance of that Word in her life. You have to believe God’s Word to you otherwise you may never see the performance of the same in your life. Our appropriate response to God’s Word is faith. This is what pleases God and brings about the manifestation of His power according to that which we have believed (Hebrews 11:6).

Hebrews 4:2 shows us that the Word of God will only profit the man or woman that receives it by faith. When God’s Word finds faith in a man’s heart, the power of God in that Word is released for a performance of what faith demands. A heart devoid of faith causes the Word to be dormant. Beloved, faith is a choice we make having received or heard God’s Word. You have to consciously allow God’s Word to take a hold of your spirit for faith to be born in you. Don’t leave God’s Word to chance; Let it into you for faith to be born. Choose to believe God’s Word from the inner recesses of your heart. Let your response to God’s Word be ‘yes’. Act like Mary, say, “Be it unto me according to your Word”. Be optimistic and believing with respect to God’s Word. Let God’s Word mix with faith in your heart.

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
Heavenly Father, I declare that I am a believer. It is not difficult for me to believe God’s Word. I allow Your Word into my heart in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
