Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

One of the awesome qualities of God that makes Him so dependable and trustworthy is His honesty. God is honest and because He is, His Word is good. God doesn’t speak frivolously; hence whatever comes out of His mouth must be taken with seriousness. This is why we can depend on Him. His Word is good and we can bank on it. Our faith in God’s Word is based on His integrity. If God wasn’t faithful to His Word, then our faith would be uncertain, then we wouldn’t be able to believe His Word with all assurance, then even our very salvation would be in doubt because we won’t be sure that we got eternal life when we confessed Jesus as Lord. But bless God, He keeps His Word. Our faith hinges on the immutability of His divine nature. He is faithful and cannot deny Himself.

The Scripture tells us that He is a God of faithfulness, without injustice. He is true and upright (Deuteronomy 32:4). Our God is dependable; He will hasten His Word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). This is how another version puts that Scripture: “…I always rise early to keep a promise” (CEV). God guards His Word jealously to perform it. Beloved, God, and His Word are one. He has highly exalted His Word more than His name. He will not deny His Word because He is faithful and dependable. When you put faith in His Word, He will honour your faith by making good His Word in your life. You can trust Him as you trust in His Word absolutely.

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
Heavenly Father, I thank You because You are faithful to Your every Word. My heart is fixed on Your Word to me today and I am confident that I will not be put to shame in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
