Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

Ignorance is bondage. An ignorant person is in the dark. Whatever you don’t understand, you cannot dominate. Rulership in life is by knowledge. The Word teaches that the knowledge of the truth ministers freedom. In effect, ignorance of the truth ministers bondage. It only takes a moment of time for knowledge to solve and resolve what ignorance has grappled with for long. Ignorance and knowledge are light years apart, as much as light and darkness are two parallel lines that can never meet. The Bible declares that the Word of God is truth (John 17:17). To be ignorant of God’s Word is to be out of touch with truth. You see, truth is reality. To be unreal is to be pseudo. To be ignorant of God’s Word is to be pseudo. Those who are ignorant of God’s Word are living in a mirage. They have not yet entered into reality. However, God does not want you to be ignorant of His Word because He loves you and knows how much you stand to gain in the knowledge of the Word (1 Corinthians 12:1-2). If God doesn’t want you to be ignorant, why not vehemently refuse ignorance outrightly.

God’s Word contains all you need for life and godliness. To be ignorant of God’s Word is to suffer for no just reason, whereas all you need for life and godliness has been provided. Beloved, begin to dig deep into the Bible to know what God has already provided for you. You see, digging deep into (studying) the Word begins with having a regular Bible study schedule. Every serious-minded believer ought to have a daily Bible study schedule when you read the Word to know the will of God for you. Studying the Bible begins with reading. When you start reading God’s Word, you’ll begin to learn the facts of God’s Word that will lead you into revelation knowledge of the Word. Reading gives knowledge while studying gives understanding. Study the Word. Refuse to be ignorant of God’s Word!
