Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

To have dominion is to have ruling authority or control over things. It means to ‘lord it over’ everything God has created. Dominion over all created things (except humans) is part of the blessing. We were made by God to rule, reign and have dominion over everything on earth. By virtue of the blessing on the believer, nothing has power over him; he is only dominated by whatever he concedes dominion to. In the realm of dominion, identity is fundamental. You must be aware of who you are to exercise dominion. If you are ignorant of your identity in Christ, then you cannot exude dominion. A prince who doesn’t know he is a prince would be treated like a slave by those he should lead. Until he comes to the full realisation of his identity, he cannot rule and reign. In addition, we dominate by the words we speak. Let your words be pregnant with authority and purpose. Speak on purpose, not by chance!

Things were made for us, not the other way round. Money, resources, food were all made for us. Don’t let these things control you. Don’t be subject to them. Lord it over money. Don’t be so money-conscious and money-ruled that you focus on getting it and hoarding it. Don’t let money have you; rather, have money. Don’t idolize money. Anyone who can’t give his money to God or to his neighbour is money possessed. Remember, money is a means to an end, not an end by itself. Be the king anywhere you go. Rule. Dominate. Dominate every situation and circumstance that comes your way. Be a proud MSc holder (Master of Situations and Circumstances).

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
I declare that from now on, I am fully conscious and aware of my identity in Christ. I am a master of situations and circumstances. I fret not. Money doesn’t rule me; I command it and use it for the glory of God, in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
