Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

God has committed to us the Word of reconciliation. Believers have the responsibility to dispense and disseminate the Word. Our outreach ministry is connecting the world to God’s Word. When something is committed to you, it means that thing has been entrusted to your care and you will have to give an account to the one who committed it to you. Beloved, you are responsible for the spread of God’s Word; you are accountable to God for it. The Word of God is what every human being needs. The Word of God is God’s change agent. It is God’s instrument for changing the human heart. Hebrews 4:12 tells us that the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, having the ability to separate between the soul and spirit, joints and marrow. No one is too big or unimportant to hear and be changed by the Word. It’s this all-important Word that God has entrusted to the body of Christ. We must ensure that all men everywhere hear this Word.

If indeed the Word of God has changed you, then the responsibility is on you to bring that same life-changing Word to others. Commit to it with your time and resources, and play your part in fulfilling God’s desire to fill the earth with the knowledge of His glory (Isaiah 11:9). Be benevolent in the sharing of God’s Word. Don’t let it stop at your desk. Pass it on. Share the Word generously with your friends, neighbors, loved ones, and siblings. This is one way to show how much we treasure God’s Word and how much we love the people within our sphere of influence. Do the work of an evangelist (2 Timothy 4:5).

Heavenly Father, I declare that I am a sharer of Your Word. I play an active part in the spread of God’s Word all over the world in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
