Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

If you are saved and aware of the blessing of God on your life, yet the blessing isn’t working for you, check yourself! Something has gone wrong somewhere, but definitely not with God. You see, God is ever true to His Word; He cannot deny Himself. The blessing covers all areas of your life. It is multi-dimensional. It was designed by God to penetrate every facet of your life. You cannot be blessed and yet traces of poverty and curses are found around you. The only way this can happen is if you are not walking in the light. Walking in the light is simply when we have fellowship with God, who is Light, and not with the unfruitful works of darkness (1 John 1: 5-7). Walking in the light is walking according to the Word of God; it is walking in love with our neighbours as Christ has loved us; it is keeping the love commandment that Jesus Christ our Lord gave us to obey (John 13:34-35).

God is absolute light! Our business as believers is to walk in the light. If at all you slip, don’t stay down. Stand up, dust yourself off and continue (1 John 2:1-2). Let your goal in life be to keep fellowship with the Word (John 1:1, 14). The whole world lies in wickedness and darkness, and is subject to Satan, the god of this world (II Corinthians 4:4). Satan is the one responsible for the chaos in the world which began when Adam handed over dominion to him by committing high treason. Jesus, through His death and resurrection, has defeated the devil and has restored back to man, in His name, the authority the devil stole from him in the Garden of Eden. You no longer have any business with the devil or his works. Let your focus be on walking in the ways of God. Walk in the light!

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
I am a new creature; I am a brand-new man. I am the light of this world. I walk in light and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness. I am like my Father who is absolute Light and I walk in this consciousness, in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
