Leverage Devotional For Today Message:


Order is the first principle of increase. To increase in life, you have to be orderly. It doesn’t take God a long time to do something big. Many people wonder why God has not made them millionaires overnight despite their fervent prayers, giving, and service. The answer is simple; they are not ready to handle the increase. The fact is, if they got such money, it would further escalate the disorder in their lives and they would become worse off. Order is the proper arrangement of things in a sequence of priorities. The main point here is priority. As long as priority is not understood, disorder is the result. For instance, paying your tithes ought to come first in your financial plan. God has a financial plan of prosperity for His children different from what the world operates by. God’s financial plan, when well understood and run faithfully, brings awesome results financially (Malachi 3:10; Proverbs 3:9). If you do all the praying and fasting without paying your tithe, you’ll still not enjoy heaven’s provisions. If you put your tithe last or second, it is a dishonour to God.

Putting God’s Word first in your life is the right order because everything in life answers to the Word – your healing and health (Proverbs 4:20-22), your safety and prosperity (Job 22:21-25), and everything that pertains to your life and godliness. God’s Word must take first place in your life for you to be orderly. Biblical order is putting God first in all you do. Beloved, God’s Word is our wisdom. God is not the wisest God; He is the only wise God. To follow Him is to be wise. To despise Him is to be foolish (2 Timothy 3:15; Jude 1:25; 1 Timothy 1:17; Romans 16:27). Putting God first is order. This is the scriptural way to increase in all you do. Search the scriptures to know what God has said concerning every aspect of your life. Meditate on God’s Word and put it first. Put God first!

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
Heavenly Father, I put You first in my life by putting Your Word first in all I do. I declare that I understand priority and order and everything about my life is organised and orderly. I give attention to your Word in my life, in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
