Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

A victorious life is simply a life that has withstood and overcome countless difficult times. That you are in Christ doesn’t mean you’ll not face challenges, but that you’ll always overcome with a victory shout is an ascertained reality. If you will be successful in life, you will need to have a backbone like a ‘crowbar’. In other words, you must be ready to endure hardness. Hardness is not hardship. Hardship is the suffering you earn for your ignorance, while hardness is the affliction you go through because of your faith. The Word declares that persecution arises for the Word’s sake (Mark 4:17). So, bearing up under the weight of afflictions because of the Word is enduring hardness. Jesus never promised that there would not be hard times; He promised victory over them for those who endure to the end (Psalm 34:19, 1 John 5:4).

The kind of faith we have received in Christ is the overcoming type (1 John 5:4). It then follows that there must be challenges that our faith must overcome, right? Don’t be alarmed when you face divers tests and trials. It does not always mean you have sinned or done something wrong. Most importantly, you must learn to put out your faith against every fiery dart of the wicked (Ephesians 6:16). The devil hates it when the believer is standing in faith against all odds. The devil will throw things at you to trouble you just to get you out of faith. The fact that Satan lost to Christ over you does not mean he would not attempt to deceive you out of your victory. You have the faith of God to overcome Satan and everything in the world order. Rejoice, beloved.

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the ability of Your Word to bear me up in trouble. I confess that I have the strength to endure hardness without weakening because the Spirit of God strengthens me unto constancy in doing God’s Word with longsuffering and joyfulness given the great harvest ahead of me in Jesus’ name. AMEN.
