Leverage Devotional For Today Message:

One good way to command your life successfully is by speaking the Word to yourself. Your life takes after what you have been saying to yourself over time. The tongue is a powerful member of the body, not because of its location, but because it produces words that shape our lives. Our opening scripture reveals that the words you speak direct you in the path of life or death. Your tongue, actually, is the steering of your life. It will take you to its destination. Words are seeds. We sow them with our tongue. Our heart is the soil and our circumstances are the outcomes or harvests.

The Word teaches that it is with the mouth we confess and with the heart we believe (Romans 10:8). There is a direct connection between what you are saying with your mouth and what you believe about yourself and your situation. What you say long enough with your mouth, your heart will get to agree with it, and before long, you start acting it out. Your tongue, your heart and the results you get in life are directly related. Your tongue is the initiator; it begins the entire process of death or life. You cannot rise above the level of your confession. As believers, the Word of God is our reality, not the situations around us. No matter what you are going through, put the Word of God in your mouth and continue to say it till your heart comes in agreement with it. When your heart agrees with your mouth, your miracle leaps into being for you. Don’t only speak the Word when you need a miracle; rather, make the Word of God your language and conversation.

MY SOLID FRONT (CONFESSION)
Thank you, dear Father, for I am born of You, and I am of faith. I put Your Word in my mouth from today henceforth. I have what I say. My life is full of the fruits of my lips. I do not relent in speaking the Word of God concerning my life and situation in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
