SCRIPTURE: Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. – Jeremiah 14:14.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2024 MESSAGE:

Sometime ago, we were preparing to go for a crusade in a country outside Nigeria. One of our pastors said that someone sent him a prophecy from one “prophet” in that country.

Now, the “prophet” in question said something negative concerning our going to that country for the crusade. It was a negative prophecy and according to them, the so-called prophet usually prophesied accurately.

They said that the “prophet” gave the same kind of negative prophecy when a great and renowned evangelist came to that country in time past for a crusade and the prophecy came to pass.

When I heard it, all I said was, “That prophecy will not see the light of day.” And I didn’t pray about it. And that prophecy never saw the light of day. We went and returned from that country in peace, and the crusade was successful.

It was a case of minor prophets trying to prophesy to major prophets. It is important to know that not knowing who you are is not humility.

The revelation of the word is superior to any so-called prophetic revelation from anyone.

On another occasion, I was introduced to an elderly man of God, and I related with him respectfully. Later on, I realised that this man had a vocabulary full of negative prophecies.

As you talk with him, he would begin to say something negative about you. And while the word was yet in his mouth, I would reject and cancel it instantly.

This man of God is old enough to give birth to me. But never respect anyone enough to allow them drive your destiny in a negative direction.

Now think about this, what the devil is trying to show me about myself cannot come to pass, how much more what another person claims the devil shows them about me?

Beloved, let the sure prophecy of the Word of God be your guide in life and destiny.

Remember this: Never respect anyone enough to allow them drive your destiny in a negative direction.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You sharpen my spiritual discernment to know the difference between right and false revelations. I reject every negative prophecy over my life and destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
